M K Ponda College Rejoices Red Ribbon Club Activities: Cluster activities were organized on the occasion of “Youth Day” by Red Ribbon Club of the college on 10th & 11th August ‘15:

 • -Poster Making Competition - A poster competition on the theme “Blood is Life – Blood Donation is Gift of Life”was organized under NSS on 10th August ’15 to generate awareness of importance of blood donation among students.

• Oath Taking – Students were administered oath for generating consciousness for safety against HIV/AIDS in the society.

 • Formation of Red Ribbon – The Students organized themselves and formed a big logo of “Red Ribbon” in the lawns of the College. A snap shot of the formation was also taken.

8th Raising day celabration..

The 8th Foundation day of M K Ponda College of Business and Management was celebrated with much aplomb and fervour. It was a proud moment for the MKPC family as it celebrated its 8th successful year. The guest of Honour was Mr. Vaibhav Bhargava, Regional Head of Retail and Business Banking, ICICI,Bhopal, who emphasised the importance of having a good foundation and gave practical knowledge to the students on how to succeed in the corporate world. The students presented two dances, one embodying all the qualities of Goddess Durga and the other based on women empowerment dedicated to the force behind the institution, the Founder, Mrs Manjula K Ponda.The Chairman,Mr. Sumeet Ponda in his address told the audience of the journey of MKPC and where he would like to see it in the future.

Guru purnima Utsav..

MKPC reveres the Guru- shishya bond MK Ponda college celebrated the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima on 31st July with much reverence and love for the gurus. The program began with the lighting of the lamp which signified the light of knowledge and learning. The students threw light on the contribution of different gurus and teachers that have been respected and admired by Indians and the world alike. Beginning with our first teachers, our parents; the students gave presentations on the great teachers like Chanakaya,, Ramkrishna Paramhansa and Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.. The epic stories of Eklavya and Dronacharya , Chanakaya and Chandra Gupta Maurya were enacted in form of short skits. Principal Prof (Dr.) Manju Tembhre gave a moving speech on the beautiful and vital relationship of students and teachers.

Induction Programme 21/7/2015.

M.K. Ponda College of Business and Management commenced its three day orientation ceremony on 21st July 2015. More than 200 students attended the orientation held at the college campus. The auditorium was overflowing with spirited new students and their equally excited seniors. The program began with welcoming of guests, Mrs. Manjula K. Ponda, Founder of the Red Rose group, Mr. Sumeet Ponda, Chairman of the group and Mrs. Sejal Ponda by the Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Manju Tembhre. They were welcomed in traditional fashion with Aarti and flowers, followed by Saraswati Vandana. The Founder, Chairman and the Principal, then addressed the students with inspiring words and pearls of wisdom. To ease the transformation of the new students into college life, they were given a campus tour and were introduced to the faculty and staff. In the next two days, the students will be presented with the syllabus, timetable and the academic calendar. There will also be a lot of ice breaking activities, so that they start the new session in a spirit of camaraderie. On the last day of orientation, they will be taught about SWOT analysis and all the tools and resources that are needed for them to succeed at the institution and beyond.

ANNUAL FUNCTION.

M.K. Ponda College of Business & Management, Bhopal held its annual function, 7th Biz Mania 2015. The theme of the dance drama was based on the preachings of Jesus Christ, Swami Vivekananda and Gautam Buddha and displayed the social issues prevailing in Indian Society. Mr. Surendra Singh. IPS, Director General of Police, Madhya Pradesh was the Chief Guest on the occasion. He was very much impressed by the programme and said that he had never seen a better programme than this. He appealed to the students to be instrumental in maintaining law and order and join the Police Services. Chairman, Red Rose Group, Mr. Sumeet Ponda urged the youth to channelize their energy to be socially productive. Founder of Red Rose Group, Mrs. Manjula Ponda showered her blessing on the occasion. Dr. Manju Tembhre, Principal, presented the annual report highlighting the achievements of the staff & students. The programme was graced by Mrs. Meera Singh and Mrs. Sejal Ponda, Director, Red Rose Group. Awards were presented to the meritorious students of the college. Kapil Chourasiya and Ashok Chandel were presented with the Best NSS Student and Best NSS Camper Award respectively, Rahul Singh with Best Sportsman Award and Azharuddin and Abhishek Mehta bagged the award for Special Contribution. The programme was largely attended by the parents.

FAREWELL PARTY.

Memorizing the sweet and sour memories of College life, students of M K Ponda College bids a farewell party - “SAFAR”.

Junior and senior students both flavored the party. No sooner than everyone were completely lost into skit displaying various wonderful, joyful and comic moments of College life, host students burst them into laughter through very funny games like Exchanging the Dress ,One Second Reply, Tongue Twisters and Sack Race etc. On this occasion Chairman Red Rose Group of Institutions Mr. Sumeet Ponda very emphasized on the great need of entrepreneur. He shared experiences and said, the main cause of increasing malpractices in the society is insecurity about future and frustration of the man standing at last in the row, until and unless that last man does not grows this condition will never end and entrepreneurship is the only way for growth of that last standing man. Principal of College Dr. Manju Tembhre said that college has taken all initiatives to give best to its students and wished them a bright future. Mrs. Sejal Ponda showered the flowers of blessings.Farewell Party reached up to its extreme limits at the time of prize distribution for the winners and runners of various sports and cultural activities held throughout the year. A great scene it was when all the students lost themselves into music and DJ Sounds forcing to tap feet for dancing. Entire auditorium was crowded with groups of friends dancing here and there, taking selfies, photos, group photos and videos of each other in different poses and steps as nostalgia. The Manager of the year Boy was Nitin Sharma and The Manager of the year Girl was Akshada Gupta while Mr. MKPC was Syed Akabar Usman and Miss MKPC was Pooja Kumari.

8TH BIZ MANIA,2015.

To encourage team spirit, discipline, motivation, self-confidence and struggling efforts into its students , M K Ponda College of Business and Management Bhopal uncurtains the Annual Sports and Cultural meet Biz-Mania- 8 (2015) based on the theme “ Perceiving Global Culture, Following Global Culture”. Inaugural starts with the Gallantry Saluting March Past of 250 selected students divided into 4 different Houses, to Founder, Red Rose Group of Institutions, Mrs. Manula Ponda, Chairman, Red Rose Group of Institutions Mr. Sumeet Ponda, Director Mrs. Sejal Ponda and Principal of College Dr. Manju Tembhre gracing the dignity of dais. Houses displayed tradition and culture of various religions by portraying them into mobile exhibition. Mrs. Manjula Ponda blessed all the participants and asked to keep the sportsman spirit high throughout. Chairman Red Rose Group of Institutions Mr. Sumeet Ponda urge the students to inculcate sportsmanship quality in their character for entire life, where as Principal of College Dr. Manju Tembhre motivated the students to follow the path of hard and smart work for a better career. The annual sports and cultural meet begins with the inaugural speech by Mr. Sumeet Ponda. There was a tough competition in the first event Tug of War and Series of events.

TREE PLANTATION DRIVE.

A major tree plantation drive was initiated on 21st August 2014 by the National Service Scheme unit. Near about 50 flower-bearing saplings were planted on the premises of M K Ponda College with an aim to guarantee their survival. The Tree Plantation Event was inaugurated by Mr. Sumeet Ponda, Chairman of the Red Rose Group and Dr. Manju Tembhre, Principal in presence of Mr. Dolfie Monteiro, Dean, staff large number of students.

8th RAISING DAY CELEBRATION.

M K Ponda College celebrates its 8th Raising Day on 2nd August 2014 with great ardor and enthusiasm. Coordinator and Director of Entrepreneurship Development of India (MP), Mr. Raman Gujral flourishes the day with his remarkable presence as Chief Guest. A huge number of students and staff marked their noticeable presence to honour their adoring institution. Chief Guest Mr. Raman Gujral motivated the students towards entrepreneur-ism, which is motto of the College. He also shared various schemes run by Central and State Govts. both through power point display in promoting self employment. Mr. Sumeet Ponda, Chairman of Red Rose Group emphasized the students to acquire entrepreneurial skills during their studies. Besides being successfully placed himself by giving approx 380 entrepreneurs to society, he also assured students for modern blend of education and entrepreneurship in converting themselves to entrepreneurs. Founder Red Rose Group of Institutions Mrs. Manjula Ponda blessed the students. Director of group Mrs Sejal Ponda advised students to lead an honest life. Dr. Manju Tembhre, Principal of College spoke about the success journey of college including reception of various very honorable prizes and certificates like ISO 900-2001 certificate, Best Innovative B-School in Madhya Pradesh offered by India News Channel, Time Research magazine offers Best Business School in Academic Excellence Awards 2013. Function also had a number of dancing and singing colourful performances by the students.

BLOOD DONATION CAMP,17 JUNE 2014.

In honor of World Blood Donor Day year marked by the World Health Organization, the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of M K Ponda College of Business and Management in joint association with Blood Bank of Govt. Hamidia Hospital held a voluntary blood donation camp at its campus on 17th June 2014. Chairman and 18 staff members of Red Rose Group have volunteered in this camp for donating blood. This year’s theme ‘Safe blood for saving mothers’ aims to increase awareness of the need for blood supplies during delivery and after childbirth to prevent maternal deaths and help newborns take their first breaths safely. It is worthy of mention that Social Service Forum of the Institute organizes the Blood Donation Camps every year to discharge it’s Corporate Social Responsibility. This was a second Blood Donation Camp in the academic session 2013-14.

M K PONDA COLLEGE, BIDS ADIEU TO ITS STUDENTS.

M K Ponda College of Business and Management, Bhopal, organised a rocking farewell party for the students of session 2011-2014. Founder, Red Rose Group of Institutions, Mrs. Manjula Ponda, Chairman, Red Rose Group of Institutions, Mr. Sumeet Ponda and Director, Red Rose Group of Institutions, Mrs. Sejal Ponda graced the function with their esteemed presence. Solo Dance, Group Dance, Solo Song, Group Song and mind striking games were the main events of the function. Mr. Sumeet Ponda advised the students to not only work for themselves but for the society as well. Mrs. Manjula Ponda blessed the students for a better future. Principal of the College Dr. Manju Tembhre warned the students against taking shortcuts for success in life. A grand prize distribution ceremony was also organized for the houses and students who achieved first, second and third positions in various sports and cultural events held in the College. Ms. Pallavi Gour was selected as MANAGER OF THE YEAR (GIRL), Mr. Nittin Sen MANAGER OF THE YEAR (Boy) Ms. Megha Bardia and Mr. Neeraj Vanjari were selected as Miss & Mr EVE respectively. Mr. Karan jeet Singh Bakshi & Vaishali Sen were chosen as Mr & Ms. MKPC.

6th Biz Mania GRAND FINALE.

The year-long cultural and sports festivities of the M K Ponda College, Bhopal of Business & Management concluded with the Grand Finale of BIZ MANIA. Additional Director General of M P Police, Mrs. Aruna Mohan Rao was the Chief Guest on the occasion and Dr. Solanki, Registrar, Barkatullah University was the Special Guest. The 2-hour Docu-Dance-Drama which pre-recorded was a unique concept and interfaced the audience with the basic concept of 'There is no short-cut to success'..

V for VOTE: Gallant efforts by MKPC students.

The students of M K Ponda Collge of Business and Management geared up the ante for propagating awareness among people to cast their votes in the forthcoming assembly elections. The programme went off very well at the T T Nagar Stadium. Our college drew full attention of media and the masses. Play was staged just in front of main dais. Our banners were also placed prominently. Over 2000 people including students of various colleges and bureaucrats witnessed and appreciated our efforts and the performances of students. The Principal Dr. Manju Tembhre informed about the college to DM, Mr. Nishant Barwade and he personally congratulated and appreciated for the initiative taken. Many TV Channels captured the show.Thereafter, around more than 70 students made human chain at especially reserved area for the college at Board office. They held flash cards of slogans. Human chain also attracted substantial attention of media. Students also distributed the cards to the people around. We received good cooperation from upper collector and DPO.

M K Ponda College students visit The Tribal And State Museum.

Student of the College visited Tribal and State Museum. This was organised with the objective to acquaint the students with the culture, dresses, tradition & various aspect of the State and tribes. Students keenly noticed & were quite happy to see all the exhibits and displays.

Orientation program to welcomes newly admitted students.

M K Ponda College of Business & Management, Bhopal held’s Orientation program to welcomes its newly admitted students. Function also targeted towards imparting complete information of academic session 2013-14. Program started by executing the sacred ceremony of lighting the lamp and Sarswati Vandana simultaneously. In the early part of function all the faculty members introduced themselves with their responsibilities, while Mr. Dolife Monterio acquainted new students to zero tolerance ragging rule in the College which created a friendly interactive atmosphere through out the function.. Principal of College Prof.(Dr.) Manju Tembhre in her welcome address focused on the disciplined atmosphere of college, parameters of evaluation in CCE modes in each semester, NSS etc; motivating the students towards disciplined career .Chairman of Red Rose Group of Institutions Mr.Sumeet Ponda admired the role of youth and students in the upliftment of nation and society both, he said the youth are the wheels to carry the nation and society as high as they want. He motivated the student towards entrepreneurship. Students were showered by the blessing and guidance of the founder of Red Rose Group of Institutions Mrs. Manjula Ponda . On this occasion Secretary of Red Rose Group Mrs. Sejal Ponda was also present. A large number of Senior Students marked their presence to give a warm welcome to the newly admitted students. Mr Dolife Monterio extended the Vote of Thanks.

M K PONDA COLLEGE Students shine at SAMAGAM 2013 in Pepole's college.

The students of M.K. Ponda College of Business and Management put up an exemplary show at Samagam 2013 held at People’s Institute of Management and Technology, Bhopal. Sumaira Khan of B.Com II Sem. and Nidhi Sharma of BCA VI Sem bagged the first prize in Collage Making and Business Plan Presentation respectively. The second prize in Rangoli competition went to Jyoti Panthi of MBA II Sem & Neha Rathore grabbed the second prize in Mehndi Competition. The students of M K Ponda College of Business & Management excelled among a large number of students from various colleges of Bhopal who had registered for SAMAGAM 2013. Mr. Sumeet Ponda, Chairman, The Red Rose Group, Prof (Dr.) Manju Tembhre, Principal & Staff congratulated the students on their success.

M K PONDA COLLEGE Student Shiens in FLUXUS- 13 at IIT Indore

Deepak Solanki, a student of BCA IV semester at M K Ponda College of Business and Management bagged the 2nd position at the National Level 3 day techno- culture fest FLUXUS 13 held at IIT Indore. A large number of students from across the country participated in this competition. Deepak Solanki qualified in the 4th and final round by performing a western dance. His presentation was highly appreciated by the judges and the audience. Prof (Dr) Manju Tembhre, Principal and the staff members congratulated Deepak on his achievement. Mr. Sumeet Ponda, Chairman, Red Rose Group, congratulated and blessed him for his outstanding performance.

Independence Day Celebration,2012.

Independence Day celebrations at MKPC Bhopal were held with great patriotic fervour. The programme began with the unfurling of the National Flag by the Director Dr. O.P. Sarathe. In his address, Dr. Sarathe urged the students to contribute in the rational development. A short play on "Terrorism" was highlight of the cultural programme that followed. Patriotic songs  and dances by the students were applauded by one and all. The Chairman of Red Rose Group Mr. Sumeet Ponda also extended his greetings on the occasion.

5th Biz Mania,15th June 2012.

Biz Mania 2012 was held at M K Ponda College of Business & Management. The show was inaugurated with the traditional lighting of the lamp by the Founder of the Red Rose Group, Mrs. Manjula K Ponda, Chairman Mr. Sumeet Ponda, Mrs. Sejal Ponda, Mr. Pramod Agrawal, Mr. S K Verma and the Director of the College Dr. O P Sarathe. An enthralling and well staged play held the audience spell bound. The play highlighted the mission & vision of the college that "It is easier to create a job than finding one".

          Prize distribution for academic excellence and various sports and cultural activities followed. The show reached its Zenith with an inspiring and motivating address by the Chairman Mr. Sumeet Ponda, who also felicitated the She-Manager of the year Ms Khusboo Pawar and the He-Manager of the year Mr. Shekhar Chauhan. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms Khusboo Pawar.

Fresher's Party,29th Dec. 2011.

The Fifth Annual Fresher's Party of M K Ponda College of Business & Management was organised at the college premises on 29/12/2011, Thursday. The freshers were welcomed with the traditional Tilak and Dhol..

The function started with ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Honourable Chairman of the Red Rose Group Mr. Sumeet Ponda and Director of the College Dr. O.P. Sarathe. Dr. O P Sarathe delivered his guidance and blessing to all faculty members and students present there welcomed the freshers. Chairman Mr Sumeet Ponda motivated the students to bring out their latest potential and to become and honest the nation.

The function saw a huge participation of the students in various cultural events, including dance performances, singing, etc. Few games like tie the cloth, tongue twister song identification etc. were also played. The highlight of the event was the solo dance performance of Deepak Solanki (BCA, III Sem). The students were further awarded with various titles like Mr. Fresher. Karnajet Singh, Miss Fresher Payal Kushwaha, Miss Eve Pallavi Gour and Mr Eve Sharib Ahmed.

Mr Sumeet Ponda, Mrs. Sejal Ponda and the jury members awarded the winners of the fresher's party. 

The fourth raising day celebration of M K Ponda College of Business & Management, Bhopal started with the lighting of lamp and Saraswati Vandna. Dr. S.K.Singh Vice Chancellor M P Bhoj Open University was here as the presiding guest and Mr. S.P.Pandey Chief General Manager Escorts company was as the chief guest of the occasion. Mr S.K.Pandey, Dr S.K.Singh, Chairman of the college Mr. Sumeet Ponda and Director of the college Dr. O.P.Sarathe lighted the lamp.

Every body was enchanted by the welcome dance performed by the students of college. Dr. O.P.Sarathe director of the college in his welcome speech focused on the achievementsw ans polices of college. Dr. S.K.Singh Chief Guest while addressing the students urge the students to avoid mal practices and adopt the good ones. Chief G.M. Escorts Mr. S.P.Pandey decoded the codes of transforming a small shop into a big corporate associate. On the same had chairman of the college, Sir Sumeet Ponda in his conventional style but innovative way cited his view on "Jan Lokpal Bill" as well as said, that the rules and law cannot make the society corruption less but self honesty can do it. At last

the founder of Red Rose Group and Manjula Kapil Ponda College of Business And Management Smt. Manjula Ponda presented the memento to the Chief Guest & Presiding Guest as a sign of respect and gratitude. The vote of thanks was offered by Aafreen Khan to end the celebration.

"ADIOS-2011" 11th July 2011.

Farewell Party was organized for senior students by the students of BBA, BCA, B.Com at M.K. Ponda College of Business & Managements, Bhopal.

        Programme started with lighting of the lamp by Founder, Red Rose Group Mrs. Manjula Ponda, Chairman Mr. Sumeet Ponda, Mrs. Sejal Ponda and Director of the College Dr. O.P.Sarathe. After this, following the tradition of the College, all the Senior students have made the programme "grande" by lighting the candles and also signed their own photographs to mark the occasion.

Juniors have presented dances and made the programme colourful in the honour of seniors. Director of the College Dr. O.P.Sarathe has expressed his views and conveyed his best wishes to the outgoing students. Chairman of the Group Mr. Sumeet Ponda also addressed to the students community and in his message he asked the students to become an enterpreneur instead of becoming an employee. He also promised to outgoing students to help them in getting economic & financial help from various financial organisations.

        Finally the programme was got over by presenting Mementos to outgoing students & vote of thanks.

 "BIZ-MANIA" The Annual Sports & Cultural Meet-6 May 2011.

The Fourth Annual Sports & Cultural Meet 'Biz Mania' of M K Ponda College of Business & Management was concluded with great fervour on 6th May, 2011 at College campus. On this occasion Prof. Nisha Dubey, Vice-Chancellor of Barkatullah University, Bhopal was present as Chief Guest. Founder of Red Rose Group, Mrs. Manjula K Ponda & Chairman of Red Rose Group Mr. Sumeet Ponda were also present as special guest on the ocassion.

          Welcome speech given by Director of the College Dr. O P Sarathe. The function was started with lighting of lamp and Durga stuti presented by the students. After this students have played a drama, depicting the aim & purpose for which college was established, which focuses on development of entrepreneurship. The entire theme of the function was based on rapid changes taking place in the World of commerce and in this environment instead of rushing behind jobs, better to start own business and create employment to others.

On this occasion, students of the college who have excelled academically during the present and previous session were also honoured by the chief guest. Prof. Nisha Dubey on her speech praised the purpose & aim for which the college was established and extended her best wishes to the students. Chairman of the Group Mr. Sumeet Ponda also addressed the gathering and felt satisfied with the efforts being made for achieving the purpose and aim of establishment of college.

          Pankaj Peswani & Ms Sneha Thakur, students of final year were also honoured with "Manager of the year award". Pankaj Peswani student of final year presented the vote of thanks.

MBA Ist Sem Fresher 's-Party ,19 March 2011.

The fresher party of MBA Ist Sem. students took place in M K Ponda College of Management, Bhopal. The MBA Freshers were welcomed with the traditional Tilak to their forehead appied by Rakhi of MBA IIIrd Sem. The programme commenced with the lighting of lamp.

            Welcome speech was delivered by Akshay MBA IIIrd Sem. Republic Day Celebration,26 Jan. 2011.

M K Ponda College of Business & Management celebrated Republic Day with great enthusiasm. Director Dr.O.P.Sarathe has done Flag hosting and conducted oath ceremony from students and faculty members of discipline committee for maintaining discipline in college premises.

            Anant Shrivastav (BBA IIIrd Sem) presented patriotic song, Khusboo Pawar (BCA IIIrd Sem) has delivered speech on achievements of India and inspired young crowd to make India correction free , Rita Verma and Kapil Yadav performed dance ( we are Indians) A heart touching play was done to show integrity of India. Jayant Bharadwaj (B Com IIIrd Sem) song patriotic song and overwhelmed all present there. Shariq Khan (MBA-Ist Sem) has given brief information about formation of our Indian constitution which was followed by group dance. Manthan, which made whole event more interesting. Program came to end with vote of thanks by Ms. Gazala Qurishi (BBA Vth Sem) and sweets distribution.

Industrial Visit to Top-N-Town, 22  Jan. 2011

anagement visited production unit of Top-N-Town Govidnpura, Bhopal for Industrial Visit. Mr. Neelesh Soni & Ms. Richa Jain were present from faculty members of college. Students gained information about production, packaging, transportation and marketing strategy of Top-N-Town. Team from Top-N-Town including General Manager Mr. Subhash Mistri, Ms. Rachna, Mr. Rambabu & Mr. Gyanendra Lokhe shared their experience with students.

 Students were curious about vision and mission of Top-N-Town and market information is also given to them.

Industrial Visit to ITC e-Choupal 16 Dec 2010

The Students to MBA; BBA & B.Com. from M K Ponda College of Management and M K Ponda College of Business & Management, visited ITC e-Choupal at Sehore on 16th December, 2010. On this occasion Mr. Sumeet Ponda, Chairman, Director Dr. O.P. Sarathe and Mr. M.N. Shrinivasan, Dean of MKPC were also present. The students visited ITC e-Choupal alongwith faculty. Mr. Pawan Thakur (Head Incharge e-Choupal, Sehore) and Mr. Afsar Khan (Incharge Retail outlet, Sehore), interacted with students and explained its Marketing strategy and how they help farmers to sell their crops on favorable rates to ITC, ITC educate farmers in production of crops. Students noted that no sooner, farmers sell their crops they get its amount. Students also visited retail section of ITC at Sehore.

FETE-Learning Business Skills & Management (20 Nov. 2010)

The Red Rose Group organized a fete on 20th Nov on the premises of M K Ponda College of Management with Founder Mrs Manjula K. Ponda, Chairman Mr Sumeet Ponda  and Director Mrs. Sejal Ponda being the special guests to grace the occasion. The students were enterprising in their venture to make profit via their respective stalls and learnt valuable skills on business management. The event was a colourful and Joyful blend of display of Indian culture and traditions represented by students dressed in traditional attires and with a variety of stalls of Indian cuisines and games. The stalls were put up by the students of the various branches of Red Rose group of Schools and of M K Ponda college of Management. Mr Pankaj Peswani and Ms Priyanka Sisodia of BBA-V Semester were judged the best dressed Male and female  in traditional costume and Mr Parshav Mota of 12th Standard of Berasia Branch got the consolation prize. The Best stalls were also judged with Gujarati Paan (Parshav &  Group) of Berasia Branch; Chat & Fast Food ( Abishek Chauhan & Group) of  Trilanga Branch  and LAN Games( Anshul Sahu & Group) of BCA- III Semester of MKPC bagging 1st , 2nd and 3rd Position.  The winners were felicitated by Mrs Manjula K Ponda with a prize distribution ceremony. FM-Radio Jockey further chilled the boisterous atmosphere which made it a wonderful experience for the students.

Navratri Celebration (12 Oct. 2010)

On the auspicious occasion of Navratri 2010 the management, teachers and students of M.K.Ponda college of Business & Management celebrated this holy day with a lot of devotion and worship.

 The Function began with the welcome of Founder of Red Rose Group Mrs. Manjula Ponda,  Chairman  Mr. Sumeet Ponda and Mrs. Sejal Ponda  by applying  Tilak & presenting them all with a shawl and Shriphal after which everyone reverently sang the Arti. This was followed by the lighting of lamp and a Garba performed by students. The faculties also join in the joyous celebrations.

Mr. Sumeet Ponda awarded prizes to the best dancer male & female and the best-dressed participants. The function concluded with an address by Mr. Sumeet Ponda who emphasized the need to maintain secularism, national trends and culture of the nation.

Teachers' Day Celebration (6 September 2010)

Teacher's day was celebrated in M K Ponda College of Business & Management with grand gala. The celebration was started with lighting of lamp by the Group founder Smt. Manjula K Ponda and the Chairman Mr. Sumeet Ponda.

On this occasion, Mr. Sumeet Ponda had addressed the teachers and conveyed his best wishes, and also asked them to teach moral values to students. Mrs. Manjula K Ponda blessed the gathering.

Then the students have presented colourful dances and entertained the teachers. The programme was wrapped with the vote of thanks given by college dean.

Blood Donation Camp (10 August 2010)

A Blood Donation Camp was organized by M K Ponda College of Business and Management on 10th August, 2010 on its premises along with the Red Cross Society. The entire Red Rose Group Family contributed to this social cause with the donors coming forward in numbers from all the branches of the Group. The founder of the Group Mrs. Manjula K Ponda marked her presence to encourage the donors, as well as the Chairman of the Group Mr. Sumeet Ponda actively contributed to this social mite. The event was successfully conducted with a participation of 34 donors.

College Raising Day Celebration (6 August 2010)

M K Ponda College of Business and Management celebrated its 3rd Raising Day – 2010. The Founder Mrs. Manjula Ponda and eminent guests, Mr. M K Dubey, ED, BHEL, Bhopal, Mr. Anil Bhide, State Bank of Indore, Mr. Sumeet Ponda, Chairman, Red Rose Group lit the customary lamp to evoke the blessings of goddess Saraswati. The students sang the recitation of Shloka. They welcomed the guest with a classical welcome dance.

 The Founder of the College Mrs. Manjula Ponda felicitated the BBA University Toppers from the College, namely Tanushree Arora, BBA V Sem, Sandhya Singh BBA V Sem, Pankaj Peshwani, BBA II.

The function continued with the interactive session by the Cheif guest Mr. M K Dubey he gave the "Mantras" success in the corporate world. The Chairman Mr. Sumeet Ponda, Red Rose Group of Schools & Colleges spoke at length on the youthful approach to Business Management today.

A Vote of thanks given by the Dean Academics Ms. Abhilasha Sharma. The function ended with Lunch.

M k Ponda College of Business and Management bids au revoir to students (25 May 2010)

M K Ponda College of Business and Management bade a touching farewell “Adios” to the outgoing batch at a function held in its campus on May 25th, 2010.  The function began with the lighting of the lamp by Founder of Red Rose Group Mrs. Manjula Ponda.

          Junior students expressed their love and respect for their seniors by presenting songs, dances and entertaining games. Director of the College Dr. A.P.Singh along with Chairman Mr. Sumeet Ponda, Mrs. Sejal Ponda and Mr. V.K.Kapoor (Ex-Director) gave away various awards to students. Ms. Sandhya Singh was awarded the title of 'Miss. Eve' while Mr. Nitesh Pawar was adjudged ‘Mr. Eve’. Ms. Tanushri Arora bagged the title of ‘Miss MKPC’ While Mr. Vishal Chouhan was adjudged ‘Mr. MKPC’. The award for the 'Most Decent Senior' was conferred upon Karan Thakur while the 'Book Worm' award was won by Ms. Seema Thakur. The 'Best Helping Senior' award was won by Ms. Pooja Peshwani whereas the ‘Mr. Encylopedia’ award was bagged by Ashutosh Yadav. Junior students wished their seniors a bright future by applying the traditional ‘tilak’ to their foreheads.

          Senior boys and girls looked smart and elegant in their best outfits. Gifts were presented to senior students

as a token their love and remembrance. The programme ended with a fellowship meal and good wishes for a bright future.

 Chairman Mr. Sumeet Ponda emphasized the need for developing the right attitude and skills required to excel in the present scenario to eliminate the darkness of ignorance.

          Director Dr. A.P.Singh presented the vote of thanks.

II Annual Cultural Programme  and  Prize Distribution Ceremony (22 April 2010)

M K Ponda College of Business and Management celebrated its IInd Annual Sports & Cultural programme titled "CHLOROS AURA" on the occasion of Earth day, in the auditorium, Sonnet, at Lambakheda, Bhopal on April 22nd, 2010. The programm was based on the theme "Green Environment". Taking into account the occasion, the invitees were welcomed with plants.

          The programme began with Saraswathi Vandana, followed by lighting of ceremonial lamp by the Founder of the Group Mrs. Manjula Ponda and Chairman Mr. Sumeet Ponda.

          On this grand occasion cultural programmes and a debate on "Save Environment" were presented by winners of the inter-house competitions. Finally the Chairman of the Group presented the trophy to the overall champion and gave away the prizes.

          The Dean of the College gave the vote of thanks.

Annual Sports Meet (8-12 April 2010)

M K Ponda College of Business & Management, managed by The Red Rose Group of Schools & Colleges, Bhopal, a formidable force in the sphere of education, organized its second Annual Sports & Athletics Meet in the College premises.

          The 5-day Sports and Athletics Meet was inaugurated by Founder Mrs. Manjula K Ponda, along with Chairman Mr. Sumeet Ponda.

          In the competition the participants were divided into four Groups, with their unique B-School names 1. Business Tycoon, 2 Corporate Magnates, 3 Market Knight, 4 Fortune Hunters. The five day Annual Sports and Athletics Meet consisted of the following events: Tug of war Chess, Carrom, Basketball, Volleyball, Cricket and Athletics. Students participated in good numbers in these competitions and won prizes for their Groups.           The Annual Sports & Athletics Meet 2009-10 ended with the prize distribution ceremony, and a brief speech from the college Director Dr. A.P. Singh. He declared the Sports Meet closed.

Fun-Filled Fete And Fashion Show(14 November 2009)

On the Birth Anniversary of India's First Prime Minister Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru, "Bal Divas" programme was organised in M K Ponda College of Business & Management, Lambakheda in which various food and games stalls were put up by the students.

          In the programme, Founder of Red Rose Group Mrs. Manjula Ponda and Chairman of the Group Shri Sumeet Ponda with his wife were present as special guests. The function was followed by the floral tribute paid to the photograph of Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehruji by the Founder of the group Mrs. Manjula Ponda.

          Children from Red Rose School, Berasia Road Karond were also invited. They came in good number and enjoyed the function, also played games and enjoyed a variety of delicious eats. Students in traditional attire participated in a fashion show. There were gifts for the best decorated stalls as well.

Teacher's Day Celebration(5 September 2009)

Students of M K Ponda College of Business & Management celebrated Teachers' Day on 5th September, 2009 in the College campus. The Chairman of the Red Rose Group of Schools & Colleges Mr. Sumeet Ponda, inaugurated the function with the lighting of lamp. Students performed various dances and songs and honoured teachers with the gifts and flowers. Teachers also participated in various activities.

College Raising Day(29 August 2009)

M.K.Ponda College of Business and Management celebrated its 2nd Raising Day.The function started with the Lighting of the Lamp by Chief Guest Mr. Anil Bajpai, CEO Vodafone (M.P., CG). The recitation of Shloka was sung by the students. They welcomed the guest with a classical welcome dance.

The Founder of the College Mrs. Manjula ponda felicitated the BBA University Toppers from the College, namely Tanu Shree Arora BBA III Sem, Nakul Panda BBA III Sem, Vishal Chouhan BBA III and Seema Thankur BBA II.

Farewell Organised For MBA Students (25 July 2009)

Student of MBA 2nd Sem. of M K Ponda College of Management organised a farewell party for their seniors on the 25 July, 2009. The function started with the lighting of the lamp by Mr. Sumeet Ponda, Chairman of the Red Rose Group of Schools & Colleges & Mrs. Sejal Ponda. The students greeted the guests & Faculty with plants to make the day environment friendly. Junior students performed various dance and melodious songs and distributed titles & mementoes to their seniors. Mr. Dolfie Monteiro & Miss. Rina Bisth were selected as Mr. & Miss MKPC respectively Mr. Rishi Gohiya & Miss Priyanka Shivhare were selected as Mr. Eve & Miss. Eve. Mr. Sumeet Ponda showered his blessings and best wishes to the out-going students.

Beyond Horizon,2009(2 May)

M K Ponda College of Business and Management began with its five days sports & cultural meet, "Beyond Horizon 2009" with a formal opening of the ceremony by the Chairman of the Red Rose Group Mr. Sumeet Ponda on 27 April, 2009. The College basking in the glory of its meritorious achievements would be celebrating these five days event to celebrate the joy of spreading its wings Beyond Horizon by providing a platform to the students to show their diverse skill and talents in true spirit and upholding the torch of "lets touch the sky and float beyond it".

          The day was marked by the participation of the students in the following games like Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball, Chess, and Carom.

Visit  To Parmalli Wallace

M.K. Ponda College of Business & Management conducted an Industrial Visit for MBA-Ist Semester on Saturday 17, Jan 2009 at Parmalli Wallace, M.P. Nagar, Bhopal.

All the students of MBA-I Sem. along with the faculty members went there.

Parmalli Wallace is a leading manufacturer of engineering product specially made by combination of fiber & wood.

 Mr. Pradhan, a certified auditor of the company told us about the different product of the company and where these products are used. Some of the products which are manufacture by company is used in transformers, railway tracks, missiles etc

Seminar held in M.K. Ponda College on “Campus to Corporate"

‘The Edge Makers’, trainers &consultants conducted a seminar on the subject ‘Campus to Corporate’ in M.K. Ponda College on 2nd May 2008. This was a presentation-cum-interactive session aimed at bridging the gap between campus and corporate. Mr. Anirudh Pandey, trainer from the Edge makers, conducted the programme. Mr.Dhiraj Saxena assisted him.
Mr.Pandey started the session by explaining the concept and relevance of interviews and went on to cover the different facets of the interview process. His lucid style of presentation was replete with practical a example which was highly appreciated by all. Students were also made to give their ideas on certain situations given by the faculty, which they did very willingly making the interactive session really fruitful. Enough opportunity was gives to the students to raise queries. The clarifications were given to them by simulating the situations. Animated discussions followed virtually every given situation as to what alternatives or best answers could be given by interviewee.
It is worth mentioning that ‘The Edge Makers’ had also conducted a session on ‘Attitude Building and Personal grooming’ in the recent past which was also well received and perceived to be helpful in practical life.
Initially a brief introduction about “The edge makers” and the faculty was given by institute director Mr. V.K.Kapoor. He also explained the relevance of the topic for individual and also interpersonal situations. The programme was attended by students and faculty members. Mr. Savneet Singh Gandhi proposed the vote of thanks.

Visit to Bhopal Sahakari Dugdh Sangh

Students of MBA, BBA and other undergraduate classes recently paid a visit to the plant of Bhopal Sahakari Dugdh Sangh at Habibganj, Bhopal. The objective of the visit was to acquaint them with the organizational mission, set up, field and plant operation, products and marketing etc.
On reaching the plant the students were divided in two group. There were separate counseling sessions taken by AGM (Marketing) of Dugdh Sangh. These sessions were very informative covering all facets of the operations-Procurement to distribution. The field operation activities start with organizing of cooperative societies in the rural areas and end up with milk transportation to dairy dock. The plant operations begin with the receipt of milk at the chilling centre or dairy dock and end with the dispatch of milk and its distribution.
The students went round the plant and saw the process of testing of milk. pasteurization, chilling, packing and

storage with interest. Explanation on process of distribution and marketing activities gave students an insight into time-bound and meticulously planned activities of the Sangh. Their queries meant to correlate theoretical learning with practical realties were effectively answered by the authorities concerned.

Report On Industrial Visit to Sanchi Dugdh Sangh, Habibganj, Bhopal

On 22nd April 08, an industrial visit was organized for all the students to ‘Sanchi Dugdh Sangh’. The main objective behind this visit was to equip the students with the specific knowledge about the plant location, its layout and process of production and distribution. The buses accommodating altogether 64 students (25 from PG & 39 from UG) along with four faculty members Started from the college at 10:30 am and reached the premises of the ‘Sanchi Dugdh Sangh’ at 11:15 am. There a counseling Session by Mr. Anurag Senger AGM (marketing) was conducted where the entire working & procedure of Production of Sanchi Dugdh Sangh was explained by him to the students and faculty members. Separate session was held for boys and girls with a query round in each. Students were taken around the plant to given an on ground exposure and knowledge on the working of the plant The visit went off well and generated keen interest, valuable insight and enthusiasm among the students.

College Organises Workshop on Entrepreneurship

For the management of Manjula K. Ponda College of Management, the cornerstone of teaching is the firm belief in giving opportunity for scholarly and analytical questioning by students. With this in view much emphasis is laid on skills based development methods like Presentations, Group work, Guest lectures by eminent speakers etc. This provides real time feel to the students. In the regularly on-going process, a Lecture-cum-Workshop on “Entrepreneurship” was organized through National Entrepreneurship Network. Mr. Ronald Fernandez, Senior Consultant, NEN conducted the session. Students Participated in the programme with overwhelming enthusiasm and came up with very innovative ideas during the exercises. Mr. Fernandez explained the concept of entrepreneurship and related issues in a very simple but effective manner, which was appreciated by the students. In the beginning, Mr. V.K.Kapoor, the director of the institute, introduced Mr. Fernandez and highlighted the importance of the subject to be discussed. A film was shown which highlighting the views of the leading entrepreneurs-Past and Present. It also brought out the qualities of a good entrepreneur. Mr. Fernandez also explained the concept of Serial Entrepreneurship. In the workshop the students were divided in five groups. The groups vied with each other in bringing forth new ideas and their interaction with the faculty was very lively. Mr. Fernandez appreciated the creativity displayed up by the students during interaction. The session ended with a vote of thanks by Mr.Tanushree Arora.
